Position Overview: As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructures on Azure. Working closely with cross-functional teams at Axians, you will integrate solutions, enhance performance, and ensure seamless cloud platform operation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage scalable corporate cloud architectures for efficiency.
  • Integrate information systems support technologies to boost operational performance.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, focusing on service level agreements and operational excellence.
  • Create solution architectures and oversee IaaS and PaaS deployment.
  • Streamline workflows using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Provide expert guidance on Azure services and best practices to optimize cloud environments.
  • Document implemented solutions comprehensively and produce technical reports.
  • Pursue continuous improvement projects, identifying quick wins and enhancement opportunities.
  • Collaborate within the team, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications: Proven experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure platforms. A strong background in creating and managing scalable infrastructures and solution architectures is essential. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools, along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, is required. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly, are necessary. Results-oriented mindset with experience meeting performance indicators and service levels is expected. Strong analytical skills to summarize and convey technical information effectively are also required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment is crucial. Staying up-to-date with evolving cloud landscape skills is essential.
What We Offer: Competitive salary (£95,000 - £110,000 per annum), flexible hybrid working model, opportunities for professional development and continuous learning, collaborative and innovative work environment, and more. Preferred candidates should be available within 30 days of contract award and open to on-call work or interventions outside normal hours. This is a direct contract with Axians, a company that belongs to VINCI Energies
