We're seeking a skilled Junior Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development unit, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive software requirement analysis to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of solutions.
- Create and maintain a robust software testing framework.
- Develop automated software testing methods, both in black-box and white-box contexts, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.
- Craft detailed test cases, test specifications, and scenarios at various levels, including system, component, and unit levels, to cover the full spectrum of the software & functionalities.
- Execute tests systematically and conduct error analysis, including debugging activities, to identify and address issues efficiently.
- Contribute to the code maintenance process by actively participating in GIT merge request analysis and code reviews, ensuring that the codebase aligns with quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members within the software development unit and software product assurance team, as well as provide support to other internal engineering teams as needed.
- Document and report on the tests performed, along with the corresponding results, to provide clear insights into the software's performance and adherence to specifications.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Basic understanding of microcontrollers and their operation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
