About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to improve Working Capital reporting by designing a new data trail. The successful candidate will analyze existing data in General Ledger and Sub-ledger systems, identify and address data quality issues, and propose solutions for automation and standardization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design a to-be data trail for Working Capital reporting utilizing as-is data available in our systems.
  2. Address manual data preparation needs and data quality issues.
  3. Analyze data availability in General Ledger and Sub ledger against data problem statements/requirements.
  4. Identify data trails that can address current data issues and propose to-be data trails where as-is data is insufficient.
  5. Gather requirements to enhance data frequency and accuracy of available data.
  6. Analyze data granularity of upstream interface postings and make recommendations on how they should be enhanced.
  7. Propose solutions for automation and standardization efforts.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience with SAP FI (e.g., ability to run reports).
  • Good understanding of SAP FI data structure.
  • Strong understanding of working capital accounting.
  • Experience in financial data analysis.
  • Ability to conduct data gap analysis between as-is and to-be effective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HFM can be advantageous.
  • Availability to travel within Europe.
