About the Head of Product Design Role at Grupo QuintoAndar

As the Head of Product Design, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the present and imagining the future of living. You'll partner cross-functionally with leadership in Product, Engineering, Data, and other lines to shape the vision and deliver exceptional user experiences that delight and empower people. Your work will help individuals find and love where they live, making a significant impact on their lives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Be accountable for the success and impact of your scope, leading your team and working closely with cross-functional peers to drive decision-making and execution.
  2. Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering teams, and strategic partners to develop and execute a multi-year product strategy and roadmap.
  3. Shape, conceptualize, and communicate the experience vision and direction for your line (problem space), ensuring high impact and alignment with user needs and business objectives.
  4. Identify, shape, and drive complex, cross-functional projects to ensure a unified customer experience within your problem space, ensuring high-quality design outcomes that positively impact both users and the business.
  5. Drive initiatives across lines to ensure a unified customer experience for Grupo QuintoAndar users and uphold experience quality in line with experience metrics and quality criteria.
  6. Leverage a user-centric development approach to de-risk product development, enabling faster test and learn cycles.
  7. Own the design team health in your line, adapting and evolving ways of working within line to ensure a happy and engaged team, enabling a culture of trust, collaboration, feedback, and creativity to thrive.
  8. Design the design team inside the line, ensuring the right skills and people necessary for the line to succeed (including hiring and identifying training and upskill needs).
  9. Coordinate to ensure appropriate coverage of projects and teams, allocating people and effort according to priorities and impact.
  10. Support and develop your team, creating opportunities for growth and addressing performance issues promptly.

**Requirements**

  • Solid Product Design experience, proven by cases or portfolio demonstrating your process and decision-making.
  • A proven track record of turning customer needs into innovative ideas and user-friendly designs for developer tools.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary product design teams and passion for helping people grow and develop their careers.
  • The ability to influence and inspire others towards a customer-focused, data-driven approach to design and development.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, able to articulate and connect design decisions to business outcomes to different audiences.
  • A willingness to balance strategy and hands-on work with the team and deliverables.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
