We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Writer who can create high-quality technical documentation to enhance our customers' experience and improve their journey to secure web applications and APIs.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of creating technical documentation for new products or services, establish documentation structures, templates, and guidelines, and ensure content is easy to navigate and scalable.
About the Role
- Create helpful, accurate, well-organized, consistent, and highly effective content.
- Write API documentation and assist in API design.
- Participate in agile development team meetings and represent the interests of the product documentation team.
- Become an expert user by testing each feature and workflow and providing feedback to product development teams.
- Collaborate with software developers, designers, and product managers about new features and upcoming product changes.
- Align product documentation with other forms of customer enablement content.
- Prioritize multiple documentation projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Requirements
- 4+ years of technical writing experience for Developers, Security Experts, IT operations, DevOps, or DevSecOps audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communications, computer science, or a related study area.
- Native English or equivalent, with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn complex concepts and technologies and clearly explain them to others within the target audience's context.
- Experience with documentation tools and platforms such as Docs as Code, GitLab, OpenAPI, Markdown, Docusaurus, or similar software.
