Job Overview

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Intercompany Financial Specialist to join our team at Jobtome. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of intercompany transactions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, including sales orders creation, accruals, and settlements as outlined in the Intercompany Handbook.
  • Prepare and upload manual journal entries for intercompany recharges and settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Support monthly intercompany balance reconciliations related to trade transactions, identify and resolve mismatches, and ensure timely settlement of intercompany invoices.
  • Address and resolve intercompany transaction mismatches and disputes, ensuring timely communication and resolution with counterparts.
  • Compile and maintain intercompany reports, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to resolve intercompany discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the settlement of intercompany balances, including the preparation of payment selection files, and performing calculations in netting files.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including extracting trial balances, updating balance sheets, and preparing intercompany reconciliation templates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in intercompany accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience with Deltek Maconomy, OneStream, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of intercompany accounting principles and practices.
