At Linde Global Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and laws.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position based on an unlimited contract with standard weekly working hours from 08:00 hrs till 17:00 hrs. The estimated salary for this role is approximately €50,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will provide expert advice on data privacy and protection matters to ensure that our organization remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing data protection strategies and policies
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective data protection practices
  • Liaising with external entities, such as law firms and regulatory bodies, as required

You will also be responsible for providing training and guidance to colleagues on data protection best practices, ensuring that everyone within the organization understands their roles and responsibilities in protecting sensitive information.

Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in law, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification in data protection and/or cybersecurity (e.g., CIPP, CISSP)
  • Several years of experience in data protection or a related field, with a focus on EU GDPR and local data privacy laws
  • An excellent understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection

Additionally, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
