The European Technology Centre in Portugal aims to be part of the global team developing core technology solutions while supporting our European business.

**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Technology Center in Portugal. This role involves contributing to the quality assurance of our core market research application while having opportunities to develop our global QA practice. As a member of a local team part of an international development team spanning the US, Portugal, and India, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality standards for our innovative products in a dynamic and collaborative global environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Product Quality: Responsible for the quality of major features and minor releases.
2. Requirements Understanding: Understand project requirements and scope, identifying inconsistencies and gaps, and communicating with the Product Owner.
3. Quality Assurance: Serve as a Quality Assurance Engineer on teams executing projects from beginning to end, including collaboration with product management, gathering requirements, brainstorming solutions, and testing final applications.
4. Knowledge Maintenance: Maintain knowledge of the architecture of the platform and product features, and create and execute manual functional test cases.
5. Test Case Design: Identify test cases for automation and discuss the most efficient type of automation for identified cases, design, create, and execute automated functional test cases, and design, create, and execute automated non-functional test cases (performance, resiliency, guardrails, backwards compatibility).
6. Defect Management: Log defects and coordinate with developers to resolve them, setup and maintain test data, and work closely with other teams for cross-functional requirements and collaboration.
7. Process Improvement: Participate in design and code reviews, address areas of improvement in the automation framework and workflows, identify and implement QA processes in support of providing quality products, educate new hires and team members on application, tools, technologies, processes, follow community best practices, and team SDLC guidelines.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**
We are looking for individuals who possess accountability, examining multiple sources of information to assess problems/opportunities, and have a strong background in quality assurance engineering. You will have experience with automation frameworks and testing methodologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. An estimated salary for this position is €80,000 per year, considering the job's complexity, the company's reputation, and the location in Portugal.
