Job Description: Financial Operations Expert

Reporting to the Portuguese Branch CFO, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing accounting processes for invoices and payments
  • Developing and optimizing tax models for Portugal, preparing financial reports
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with Bank of Portugal requirements
  • Controlling the branch's P&L, identifying improvements and deviations from the budget
  • Supporting account audits and other types of audits for both branches


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitativeProficiency in Excel (programming skills not required)Knowledge of corporate accounting and taxation, ideally with some previous experience in auditing (though not essential)Eagerness to learn and motivated to take on a new challenge in a key positionStrong communication skillsA high level of English
