Operational Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Engineer to join our PVD team at our plant in Albergaria-a-Velha. As a key member of our production management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our PVD process.

Your tasks:

• Coordinate and monitor production progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products;
• Support testing and validation in the PVD process to maintain efficiency and quality;
• Develop and update production control reports to track performance;
• Collaborate with colleagues to standardize Lean tools and improve processes;
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Identify human resource needs and report them to the head of PVD;
• Provide training and support to new employees;
• Contribute to strategic management of people and teams.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Materials, or a related field;
• Strong production management skills and experience with SAP;
• Proficiency in Google tools and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese;
• Good leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
