Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Junior Accountant to join our SDO team in Lisbon.

This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth closing process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations with precision
• Reviewing and posting ad hoc journal entries based on team input
• Maintaining SAP systems up to date by managing pricing lists and monitoring intercompany (IC) prices
• Taking ownership of scheduling, posting, and reconciling recurring IC charges, resolving any open items
• Managing exchange rates, currency valuations, and annual carry-forward balances to ensure accurate records

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
• Total relevant finance experience of 0-1 years
• Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA and financial software, proficiency in Excel
• Understanding of financial accounting and reporting standards, GAAP and IFRS principles
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
