Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Software Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions that shape the future of education technology. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collectively define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and implement complex software features and components, contributing to the overall functionality of the system.
  • Contribute to the architectural decisions and evolution of the software platform, ensuring its robustness and scalability.
  • Investigate and efficiently resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies to maintain a smooth software development process.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of software development processes, enhancing quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, and adeptly incorporate relevant technologies into our software development processes.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Have a good understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Bring at least 2 years of professional experience working with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, showcasing understanding of this framework.
  • Demonstrate solid experience in backend development, familiarity with API design, and a working knowledge of various database systems.
  • Have familiarity with at least one front-end technology and framework, such as React or Angular.
  • Showcase excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Possess a strong grasp of Git and Github for efficient version control.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills essential for effective teamwork.
  • Bring valuable experience in SaaS/Enterprise software, providing an added advantage.
  • Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for effective communication within the team and project.
