We have launched our Metis AI Platform, which achieves a 3-5x increase in efficiency and performance. Our business pipeline exceeds $100 million.

**Position Overview**

The Applications team develops customer-facing components of our Voyager SDK, including low-code model deployment and end-to-end pipeline development. Customers use these tools to evaluate, prototype, and build production AI solutions accelerated by our devices.

We are seeking skilled software engineers to help us scale the product to support various models, pipelines, and customer use cases.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Study research papers, open-source code repositories, and product documentation to deploy new models using the Voyager SDK and evaluate their performance.
  • Implement image pre and post-processing operators, collaborate with the compiler team to troubleshoot compilation issues, and write decoders that transform inference tensors to metadata.
  • Integrate popular industry-standard model frameworks within the SDK to facilitate low-code and no-code deployment of many customer models and datasets.
  • Define metadata representations for common types of models and create libraries for evaluating deployed model accuracy on our hardware.
  • Optimize end-to-end pipeline latency and throughput, root cause any bottlenecks arising on supported hardware platforms, and develop profiling tools to help customers analyze bottlenecks.
  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation and share knowledge with team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications:**

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience in the semiconductor and/or AI industry.
  • Proven hands-on experience with edge deployment frameworks such as OpenVINO or TensorRT.
  • Familiarity with model optimization techniques such as quantization, compression, and pruning.
  • Proficiency in AI application development using Python, with extensive experience in ML libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deploy end-to-end pipelines with quantized models.
  • Experience in training models using transfer learning to leverage pre-trained models for new tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot and debug complex multi-dimensional problems.
  • Practical knowledge of Linux skills.
  • Agile development using tools such as Jira, Git, and GitHub.
