We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Associate to join our team, where they will utilize their expertise to mitigate losses on mortgage-insured loans. This individual will work closely with the loss mitigation team, developing a deep understanding of our policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate losses through accuracy and adherence with policies, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and decision workout files, providing Mortgage Insurer decisions to Mortgage Servicers.
  • Develop a good understanding of the loss mitigation departments' policies and procedures.
  • Provide department phone coverage and escalate calls to the appropriate Enact team members as may be applicable.
  • Execute recovery processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of Loss Mitigation experience with an established mortgage insurer or mortgage banking organization.
  • We will consider other relevant or similar experience.
  • High school diploma (required).
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong analytic and analysis skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Organization and attention to detail.
