Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Sourcing Manager to join our team in TN Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- They will work closely with internal stakeholders, including business units, finance, and logistics, to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- The Indirect Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying and executing purchasing activities, negotiating contracts, and managing suppliers to ensure compliance with Group Supply Chain Policies and Processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and negotiation abilities, are essential for this role.
- The selected candidate will also contribute to the development of knowledge insights on market trends, supplier innovation, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy:- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support business objectives;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals;
- Identify and execute purchasing activities that meet budget, schedule, quality, technical, and ESG requirements;
- Lead the tendering process, including qualification of suppliers, issuance of requests for information/proposals/quotations, and analysis of offers;
- Develop recommendations for bidder selection and ensure tactical management of the procurement process;
- Document the tendering process and ensure compliance with Group Supply Chain Policies and Processes;
- Manage suppliers, including negotiation of contracts and agreements;
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers;
