**Key Responsibilities:**
Develop and implement microservices components that align with product functionalities
Integrate open-source software solutions into the product, ensuring they meet the required standards and functionality
Engage actively in all phases of the development cycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, implementation, and testing
Participate in cross-team code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
Propose and implement software enhancements, always weighing the cost/benefit ratio to optimize performance and maintainability

**Requirements:**
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
+3 years of experience in Java development
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts, data structures, and multi-threading
Familiarity with database concepts and their application in software development
Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team
Experience with REST and Event-Driven Architecture (e.g., Kafka, NATS)
Proficiency in cloud-oriented server languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python)
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Familiarity with container-based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud deployments on platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Living in Lisboa (hybrid role)
