About the Role

Project Manager for International Service Contracts

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy Europe & Africa. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating and ensuring the success of projects while striving for continuous improvement.

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will work closely with different departments, project management, project execution, engineering, assembly, and tools, both regionally and internationally. Our team is committed to making sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy a reality by pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of sub-projects with increasing complexity and risk.
  • Acquisition of broad knowledge of project management and technology through on-the-job training and additional courses.
  • Strengthening of your network and participation in the transformation of our project portfolio.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or process engineering, or several years of professional experience in the energy business.
  • +2 years of professional experience as a project manager/project assistant, also in cooperation with international project teams.
  • Good knowledge of Siemens-Energy and service-specific processes, strategies, tools, and IT systems.
  • Good knowledge of the market environment and/or customers and competitors, health, safety, and environmental protection, as well as comprehensive knowledge of team development and motivation.
  • Confident in the use of MS Office.
  • IPMA certification is an advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is an advantage.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Autonomy, creativity, and initiative.
  • Commitment to promoting the success of others.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Open-minded, willing to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Entrepreneurial by nature, teamwork, and communication skills, negotiation skills, decision-making, problem-solving, and assertiveness skills, positive attitude, as well as a sense of purpose complement your profile.
