We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamic Production Planner to join our team at BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems in Viana, Portugal. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and developing effective production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between customers and BorgWarner, ensuring high service levels through effective communication and coordination.">
  • Evaluate customer purchase orders and schedules to create suitable production schedules, taking into account material, labor, and equipment availability.">
  • Estimate the required amount of material, equipment, and labor for production, ensuring accurate planning and execution.">
  • Coordinate production operations to meet production deadlines, adjusting schedules as necessary to ensure timely delivery.">
  • Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays and optimize production processes.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and minimum 2-5 years of experience in logistics or a related field. You should have recognized functional knowledge, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in SAP and MES capabilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential, as well as fluency in Portuguese and English.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
