As a leading provider of IT services, we're seeking an experienced IT Production Support (AS400) specialist to join our team. This position involves supporting and maintaining our IT infrastructure and applications using AS400 technologies, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation of AS400-based systems, including DB2/400, CL/400, SQL/400, RPG & RPGLE, and COBOL/400.
  • Provide expert-level support for AS400 subsystems, job description, job queue, job logs, journal, objects, etc.
  • Develop and implement efficient job scheduling systems, leveraging knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS400 utilities.
  • Maintain and optimize BRMS (backup, recovery, and media services) capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and application support.
  • At least 3+ years of experience supporting AS400 technologies.
  • Expertise in CL/400 and OS/400 commands.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS400 utilities.
  • Experience with job scheduling systems and BRMS capabilities.
  • Proficiency in RPGLE and COBOL/400 development.
