About this Role
This role is for a highly skilled Russian Localization Quality Assurance Tester who will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a tester, you will be the first person to see the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images and the rest of the user interface collectively. You'll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by end users. This position requires collaboration with a global project team, identifying and correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors, ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines, logging details of errors and issues, and providing improvement suggestions.
You will ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery. Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters. Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation. Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with fluency in Russian and English. No prior experience is required as we provide training and support. Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for is necessary. Computer literacy, particularly with Excel, robust Internet research skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites are also required.
You must be able to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams. We require proof of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.
