Job Description
The Senior Financial Project Specialist will play a key role in managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Key responsibilities include:
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and budgets; lead daily project coordination meetings; and monitor progress against milestones.
- Functional Specifications and Implementation: Develop operational and accounting schemes, data flows, and functional specifications for finance systems; coordinate tasks with stakeholders; and ensure timely delivery.
- Support and Maintenance: Manage requests for support and maintenance activities on accounting interfaces, prioritizing tasks based on business needs.
- Testing: Conduct thorough testing of financial systems to ensure quality and accuracy.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in project management, general accounting, banking accounting (a plus), knowledge of financial information systems, and MS Excel proficiency.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Soft Skills: Strong ability to deliver results, attention to detail, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The estimated salary may vary based on location and other factors.
