">We are seeking an experienced Mobile Network Architect Specialist to join our team in Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing mobile core networks, as well as providing technical expertise to internal and external customers.
About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a strategic role within our Engineering department. As a Mobile Network Architect Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape, design, test, and implement new solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Main Responsibilities

- Lead requirements analysis processes to define clear scopes for solution creation and implementation;">
- Collaborate with technical teams to design reliable, modular, scalable, and customer-centric solutions;">
- Design and present solutions in documents and workshops, identifying impacts, efforts, and resources required;">
- Analyze Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation processes and negotiate with potential suppliers;">
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends in the Telecom industry and identify interesting solutions for our product portfolio;">
- Define and follow-up on company technological evolution roadmaps;">
- Document existing technology portfolios and propose recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives;">
- Ensure and control implementation quality, understanding End-to-End system testing requirements;">
- Capacity and Performance Analysis, Reporting, and Improvement Solution Definition;">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you should have:
Education and Experience
">A degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience;
No less than 8 years working on telecoms, designing and implementing mobile core networks;
+3 years in a telecom strategy role;
Excellent understanding of Mobile Networks and its architectures;
Experience with MVNO architecture(s) and landscape;
Familiarity with roaming environment, including technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects;
Solid knowledge of networking principles & protocols, including security;
Experience in network protocols like MAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN, DIAMETER, SIP;
Knowledge and experience of OCS and Gy/Sy interfaces;
Experience with VoLTE and VoWiFi;
Experience with LTE, 5G, IMS, IP technologies, and protocols;
Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies;
