Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Moderator to join our team in Thessaloniki, Greece. As a Content Moderator, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and positive online environment.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately €45,000 per year, comprehensive relocation support, including assistance with travel and accommodation, private health and life insurance, meal vouchers, transport allowance, and wellness coaching sessions.

Job Description

As a Content Moderator, your primary responsibility will be to review and moderate various types of content such as videos, images, news stories, and social media profiles, ensuring compliance with platform policies. You will evaluate and score content for age-appropriateness, violence levels, sexual content, and political transparency, applying content policies consistently, identifying subtle nuances in digital communication to enforce guidelines accurately.

You will also participate in wellness programs and training to support your well-being and contribute to the positive community of our team. In addition, you will escalate issues through appropriate channels when necessary to maintain performance standards and meet KPIs, adhering to security and confidentiality measures while handling content and user information.

Requirements
  • Fluent in Swedish (C1) with strong grammar skills and a good command of English (C1)
  • Previous experience in content moderation, BPO, or contact center environments is preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive content, which may include explicit or distressing material
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • Cultural awareness and understanding of political and social situations in Sweden
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
