Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with environmental regulations, corporate social responsibility objectives, and industry best practices.
- Maintain close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive sustainable practices across the organization, ensuring sustainability goals are fully integrated with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
- Support management in integrating sustainability into the organization's overall strategy, including defining sustainability goals, binding rules, and processes.
- Coordinate sustainability-related initiatives, including CO2 Scope 3, circular economy, EU Taxonomy, and EU CSRD.
- Monitor sustainability trends, customer requirements, industry developments, regulatory changes, competitor analysis, and emerging best practices.
- Participate in sustainability reporting processes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, validation, and plausibility verification of associated data.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training or sourcing initiatives to enhance capabilities in sustainability-related areas.
- Evaluate opportunities and risks, deriving strategic actions in sustainability to support long-term organizational goals.
- Define binding reporting and escalation paths, establish specific KPIs, and track and report progress on sustainability targets.
