Our client, a reputable Main Contractor, is seeking a seasoned Senior Site Manager to oversee a major refinery project in Portugal.

This high-profile construction project requires an expert with exceptional management skills to lead the site supervision team and ensure seamless execution.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering results efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce compliance with project-specific HSE Site Programs on-site.
  • Oversee execution activities on the construction site, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project requirements.
  • Regularly assess workforce productivity and adjust capacity as needed.
  • Chair construction site meetings in accordance with project-specific guidelines.
  • Lead the Site Supervision team and manage both staff and subcontractors effectively.
  • Approve regular site activity reports related to QA/QC, HSE, costs, construction/pre-commissioning schedules, contractor claims, Mechanical Completion (MC), and overall project completion.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex construction projects.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
