Senior Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team at Randstad Ii - Prestação De Serviços, Limitada. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing microbiological quality control techniques.

Job Summary: We are recruiting a Quality Control Specialist - Pharmaceutical to work in partnership with our client, a prestigious reference company in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing microbiological quality control techniques to verify the quality of raw materials, intermediate, final product, water, and environmental monitoring.

• Define and implement microbiological quality control techniques to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and control microbiological quality control activities in accordance with identified quality assurance standards, company procedures, client specifications, contract requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare changes to QC procedures or analytical methods for onwards approval and implementation.
• Audit responses for QC.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A university qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar field (mandatory).
• Analytical techniques and instrumentation experience, including GC and HPLC (desired).
• Software Empower skills (desired).
• Training of GMP and ICH standards (desired).
• Knowledge of analytical theory and microbiological techniques.
