About the Job
We are currently seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team. As a key member of our agile development team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. You will also coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles and Scrum practices, identifying and removing impediments to their progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear and prioritized product backlog, monitor and report on team performance metrics, and cultivate an environment of open communication, trust, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Identify and remove impediments to the team's progress.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear and prioritized product backlog.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics.
- Cultivate an environment of open communication, trust, and accountability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technology-driven environment, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, familiarity with technologies such as Java, Kafka, MongoDB, and Kotlin, excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders, and experience with Agile project management tools.
