At Randstad, we are looking for a talented Financial Systems Professional to join our team in Porto.
This is a full-time position that will report to the Facilities Manager in Porto and is expected to last for one year.
Your role: You will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support for our Group ERP IFS system. This includes:
- Managing BDR (Basic Data Records) effectively
- Reviewing intra-module dashboards and resolving integration issues promptly
- Monitoring the flow of data between IFS and our legacy accounting system (SunSystems)
- Following up with local teams to ensure all process dependencies are cleared in a timely fashion
- Collecting information on current issues and pain points and coordinating with stakeholders
- Performing specific month-end procedures in support of financial closing
- Working with specialists from internal IFS technical support to troubleshoot issues
- Collaborating with Internal Control/IT Security to ensure IFS processes conform with ICOFR and ICOSIT controls
- Producing reports for external auditors
- Assisting with User Access Management (UAM) processes to ensure alignment and avoidance of segregation of duties (SOD) issues
- Involvement in internal projects such as remaining IFS implementation scope and ad-hoc continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in IT or Finance (3-5 years) or equivalent
- Experience in finance/accounting positions or IT consultancy with a focus on finance systems
- Solid financial skills, including knowledge of finance processes
- Experience working as an ERP administrator for accounting, consolidation, and reporting systems
- High level of spoken and written English
- Good communication skills and analytical capabilities
