Job Description
The PR and Utility Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in combining public relations and marketing efforts within the utility segment. This strategic position involves developing and executing the company's PR strategy to increase brand awareness, enhance brand reputation, and foster media relationships.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing media relations, establishing and nurturing a network of journalists, influencers, and key industry contacts, and coordinating speaking opportunities at industry events. Additionally, this role supports market penetration in the utility segment by driving brand awareness and positioning of the company's solar solutions among EPCs, investors, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree optional but a plus) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in public relations and marketing with a strong focus on B2B PR and communications
- Experience in utility or energy-related marketing (preferred but not mandatory)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation (e.g., writing press releases, speeches, articles, etc.)
- Proficiency in PR tools and platforms (e.g., media monitoring tools, press release distribution platforms)
