Job Summary

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our ADMS Development Team based in Dublin, comprising five local members and offshore team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer within a Scrum team of 7 developers and testers.
  • Contribute to the design, development, tests, build, automated deployment, documentation, and troubleshooting of selected functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Ensure a high-quality level on development, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices, team coding standards, and guidelines.
  • Implement and integrate a range of APIs, libraries, and services as needed.
  • Follow Scrum methodology, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, embracing its values and other Agile/DevOps practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least three years' experience in roles such as Software Developer, Software Engineer, or comparable positions.
  • Proficiency in backend development with C# programming language and .NET (Core or Framework).
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Familiarity with relational database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with software testing frameworks, automated testing tools, and a test-first approach.
