We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Distribution Coordinator to join our team in the Logistics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the distribution of pharmaceutical products to customers and partners across the globe.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in managing complex distribution networks. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead efforts to achieve company objectives while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  2. Support strategic goals by pursuing cost-efficient processes and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  3. Serve as a liaison to ensure alignment with the company's strategy and manage the logistics operator relationship.
  4. Conduct regular meetings and oversight sessions with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to address distribution incidents and performance.
  5. Coordinate quarterly business reviews with key suppliers and cluster leads.
  6. Provide functional support and serve as a backup for day-to-day activities within the D&F Iberia department as needed.
  7. Develop and revise the Profit Plan, identify operational savings strategies, and promptly review invoices and metrics from the logistics operator.
  8. Support the implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with short- and long-term objectives while ensuring effective distribution operations.
  9. Participate in investigations of transport and storage incidents and oversee coordination of incoming goods and urgent shipments with Regional Transportation, Local 3PL, Demand Planning, and Quality.
  10. Resolve complaints related to logistics operations and monitor temperature deviations with Quality.
  11. Conduct LIFR analysis, issue monthly reports, and update the LIFR dashboard.
  12. Organize product destructions and support annual stock counts, price review changes, and market recalls.
  13. Ensure timely inventory reconciliation, execute TLRA according to procedures, and comply with distribution-related SOX controls.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science, Finance, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of relevant work experience demonstrating a strong track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of Good Distribution Practices and the operation of the supply chain, specifically within the pharmaceutical sector in the National Market.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with the capability to generate detailed reports.
  • Familiarity with SAP SD/MM modules and Lean Manufacturing principles, alongside pharma experience in Distribution and Logistics.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in written and verbal Portuguese; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Competencies including the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments, multi-task under pressure, work independently, and maintain a client and patient focus, coupled with strategic thinking capabilities.
