Your Role

We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join our teams in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing database solutions using the PL/SQL language and the Informix database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop database solutions using PL/SQL and Informix database
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand business requirements
  • Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers in PL/SQL
  • Perform data modeling and query optimization to ensure database performance and scalability
  • Manage and maintain the integrity, security, and availability of Informix databases
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot database-related problems

Requirements

  • Proven experience in database development using PL/SQL
  • Practical experience with the Informix database
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling and query optimization
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective database solutions
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
