Job Description

We are seeking an experienced internal audit professional to join our client's team as the Head of Internal Audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the internal audit function, developing and implementing audit plans, and providing assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute audits to ensure comprehensive coverage of all business lines and processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of internal controls
- Collaborate with management to address audit findings and recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a financial services or banking environment
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, standards, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
