Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Database Systems Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 4 years of experience in database administration. Proficiency in databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and CosmosDB is essential. The successful candidate will possess skills related to database performance, tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting, as well as knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports, installation, and configuration.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience in High Availability Clusters (RAC/Microsoft High Availability Cluster & Always-On), monitoring tools (OEM Cloud Control/Microsoft SCOM), Linux/Unix systems, scripting tools (Windows Power Shell), automation tools like Ansible and/or Terraform, and cloud operations skills (Oracle and/or Azure) are highly valued. The ability to work autonomously, be proactive, and collaborate effectively in a team environment is also crucial. Excellent communication skills and good English language proficiency are required.
