Digital Backend Staff Engineer Role

The role of a Digital Backend Staff Engineer at 99X Technology involves a passion for software architecture and coding, with a strong ability to guide and inspire engineering software engineers. This position is an individual contributor expertise career track that requires strong skills in software engineering, DevOps, and the ability to deep dive into the technical complexity of backend layers (API, microservices, event streams, code performance, and resiliency).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop backend for front systems with APIs and scalability/performance for large B2C/B2B ecommerce systems.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns, particularly within the Microservice Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge in .NET Core coding and patterns.
  • Strong knowledge in NoSQL/Database/Cache and indexing systems.
  • Strong knowledge in coding cloud-native applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes hosting and scalability management.
  • Strong GIT CI/CD knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of observability and DevOps.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven track record developing backend for front systems with APIs and scalability/performance for large B2C/B2B ecommerce systems.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns, particularly within the Microservice Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge in .NET Core coding and patterns.
  • Strong knowledge in NoSQL/Database/Cache and indexing systems.
