Aptiv seeks a skilled Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to join its Manufacturing Excellence Center. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality while adhering to internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute process improvements with limited supervision
  • Maintain engineering documentation and coordinate prototyping activities
  • Analyze build results, draw conclusions, and implement changes
  • Provide input on quality components and participate in DFMEA/PFMEA
  • Perform tasks required to assemble ME quote input and review/correct test reports
  • Fulfill and lead machine tests, benchmarking, and define new test requirements and procedures
  • Lead simple problem-solving activities and stay up-to-date with market conditions and trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (Mechanics or equivalent, Industrial background - Materials engineering is a plus)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, read technical drawings, and travel across EMEA up to 30%
