Job Description

At Blip, we're seeking a highly skilled Delivery Lead to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of software projects within an engaged, supported, and motivated team environment. Your primary focus will be on providing transparency, facilitation, and optimisation of the product and software delivery machine within a value stream to ensure maximum effectiveness of the squads within the value stream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable and support autonomous squads to be maximally effective through transparent, objective measurement and action
  • Manage dependencies, make go/no-go decisions, and delivery forecasting and metrics
  • Teach the effective operation of delivery, including stand-ups and retrospectives
  • Work in close partnership with Senior Engineering Manager and Lead Product Manager to manage transformation and continuous improvement for their value stream
  • Coach Engineering Manager and Product Owner in transformation and continuous improvement of their squads

Requirements
  • Commercially savvy, making it their business to be aware and anticipate emerging external factors and changing market dynamics
  • Ability to engage with and get the best out of people in teams
  • Strong knowledge of sports betting and trading technology environments and the products that are built thereon
  • Experience working in software delivery and understanding the delivery process
