Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Nearshore IT center in Portugal. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of OpenShift and micro-services architecture.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and administering complex technical environments, including RedHat JBoss EAP, web services, and relational databases. They will ensure smooth operations through automation and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration of RedHat JBoss EAP (versions and
  • Management and maintenance of OpenShift platforms with a focus on micro-services architecture
  • Development and support of web services using SOAP/XML technologies
  • Administration of relational databases (MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • System administration for Sos Linux RHEL and Windows Server
  • Implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Adherence to DevOps guidelines and work in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Collaboration with IT and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Support of production operations with a strong focus on IT and cybersecurity
  • Analysis of processes, definition of key performance indicators, and provision of optimization solutions
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in the area
  • Advanced experience with RedHat JBoss EAP ( and , OpenShift (Microservices) , Web Services (SOAP/XML)
  • Strong proficiency with MSSQL Server and PostgreSQL , including database administration and optimization.
  • Understanding of Java fundamentals and best practices.
  • Linux RHEL and Windows Server administration: Expert-level capabilities in managing both operating systems.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins .
  • Solid grasp of DevOps methodologies , with practical experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
