The Innovation & Engineering Hub by Volkswagen Group Services is a pioneering force in the development of autonomous vehicles. As a Platform Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based systems that enable our autonomous vehicle platform.

  • You will design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems;
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices;
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security;
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues;

About this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable job expertise;
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of software engineering, IT architecture, or comparable qualifications;
  • Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role;
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git;
  • Proficient knowledge of cloud-based services and tools, especially AWS;
  • AWS Certificate Associate Level or higher;
  • Sound Knowledge of Python (Flask) is mandatory;
  • Knowledge of a programming language (preference for Java) and proven software development skills;
