The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA)
The NCIA provides secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
NCIA Services
- Cyber Security: Advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.
- Command and Control Systems: Development and maintenance of systems used by NATO military commanders to plan and execute operations.
- Satellite Communications: Secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.
- Electronic Warfare: Support for NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.
- Information Management: Management of NATO's IT infrastructure, including databases, applications, and servers.
The NCI Agency Workforce
The NCI Agency workforce consists of three major categories: NATO International Civilians, Military, and Interim Workforce Consultants. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce, making up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.
NATO CIS Planning Course
The selected contractor shall make available personnel capable of providing the services specified in this Statement of Work. The contractor will engage with NATO CIS planning Subject Matter Experts and practitioners on behalf of the NCI Academy Office of Primary Responsibility.
Role Duties and Responsibilities
- Course Iterations: Cover all learning objectives according to the course syllabus.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain an average score of at least 4 out of 5 on customer satisfaction feedback.
- Recommendations for Continuous Improvement: Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the course.
- Course Updates: Update training materials with the NCI Academy OPR to ensure consistency as and when required.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Engage with and advise students to ensure value-added learning support throughout course iteration delivery.
