Our client is a multinational company within the industrial sector, operating with a complex structure that demands precise financial management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing reports and reconciliations to support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
The role involves strengthening relationships with stakeholders, exercising integrity and confidentiality in all reports, and maintaining processes documented and updated consistently.
A strong background in accounting standards and regulations is essential, as well as experience with SAP and proficiency in English. The ability to communicate effectively and work autonomously is also crucial.
Key responsibilities include performing account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing and submitting monthly capex forecasts, and capitalizing assets according to group (HGB)/local/tax GAAP.
The successful candidate will also prepare asset under construction control files, post asset retirements with or without revenue, and support internal and external audits.
