The Role
As a Scrum Product Owner at Kaizen Gaming, you will drive the vision and development of products by leveraging agile best practices to maximize business value. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading one Scrum team as the Product Owner;
- Providing direction and vision to the Agile development team throughout the project;
- Creating requirements in the form of epics and stories;
- Managing the backlog and iteration planning process;
- Leading the planning of product release plans and setting expectations for delivery of new functionalities;
- Mitigating impediments impacting release/sprint goals;
- Supporting the team and organization by utilizing agile/scrum best practices and promoting agile values;
- Partnering with product management and business stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI;
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the vision and development of products. This includes creating requirements, managing the backlog, and leading the planning of product release plans.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner in a technological environment;
- Solid agile experience;
- Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams;
- Familiarity with online sports betting and casino products is an asset;
- Good understanding of technology, programming languages, and software architecture is considered a plus.
