The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing the curriculum in Design Technology at Secondary level. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a key difference to a pupil's educational experience as part of a wider team and develop your skillset with key training and development opportunities available.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous annual leave.
**Job Description:**
* Teach Design Technology to students aged 11-16
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and schemes of work
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven track record of teaching Design Technology in a secondary setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
