About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Specialist to join our team at FreeBalance Inc. in Lisbon area.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field related to computing technology programs, with experience as an IT Professional in a corporate setting.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in IT operations, management, and best practices, significant experience in IT hardware and software, able to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively, critical thinking skills and analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities, enthusiastic about working collaboratively, excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, solid interpersonal skills, team management experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Technology Infrastructure
  • Coordinate with the team to maintain and support company's technology hardware and software.
  • Analyze technical needs and requirements, state of server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure design, integration, and operations.
  • Develop and implement new and existing technological infrastructures.
  • Acquire new software and hardware, negotiate service contracts, build relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Manage Information Technology engineering & operations staff.
  • Develop processes to streamline and automate routine tasks.
  • Analyze problems and communicate with end users and department managers to assess needs and determine optimum solutions to IT concerns.
  • Document all communication and tasks performed, close out help desk requests when completed.
