Main Responsibilities

As a Networks Planning Specialist at EDP Energias de Portugal S.A., you will be responsible for coordinating and executing operations and maintenance work of existing technical assets in substations. You will participate in the process of commissioning and decommissioning, prepare and conduct electrical tests as part of the maintenance of technical assets, and propose improvement actions. You will also characterize failures that occur and monitor interventions carried out by business partners.

Requirements
  • Training at the 12th Year, Technological and Professional Courses in Electrical Installations Technician; Electrical Networks Technician and Electrical Installations, Electricity, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related areas
  • Professional experience up to 3 years as a technical staff member in operational functions
  • Experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
  • Proficiency in basic computer navigation (Windows) and Office tools
  • Availability to join the On-call Availability Schedule for HV and MV network assistance, and first HV intervention, outside normal working hours
  • Driver's license and availability for frequent travel
  • Residence in Portugal, preferably near the workplace
