About the Role:
Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled Global Transfer Pricing Specialist to join our Central Tax Functions team.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring operational transfer pricing and transfer pricing compliance across the Group.
You will collaborate closely with the Group Direct Tax Lead in Switzerland, supporting various transfer pricing matters and acting as the first point of contact for finance managers worldwide.
This position offers a great opportunity to work in an international environment, covering a wide scope of transfer pricing matters, including operational, compliance, and systems management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track the compliance of Ferring affiliates with Group transfer pricing policies.
- Collaborate with finance managers worldwide throughout the year, providing support during budget, intermediary reviews, year-end Group closing, statutory closing, and tax return submissions.
- Operational management and implementation of transfer pricing lists throughout the year.
- Understand, size, and address practical transfer pricing challenges linked to operations and specificity of certain countries.
- Monitor changes in transfer pricing requirements (external and internal) and recommend improvements to transfer pricing policies and processes.
- Prepare, coordinate, review, and gain understanding of Group transfer pricing documentation.
- Perform ad-hoc transfer pricing analyzes, such as intra-group financing, short memos, CBCR compliance checks.
- Take ownership of tracking and monitoring Group tax return filing worldwide.
- Support the Group Direct Tax Lead on various projects, including RFPs, internal systems procedures, process improvements, suppliers' management, and others.
Your Qualifications:
- A university degree in finance/economics or a related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in transfer pricing (advisory or in-house function).
- Solid understanding of latest transfer pricing regulations and ability to stay up-to-date with changes.
- Good knowledge of financial accounting, reconciliation skills, and transfer pricing economic models.
- Well-organized and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail while managing things in a pragmatic manner.
- Strong Excel agility required, good Power BI knowledge, and ERP acquaintance a plus.
- Fluency in English.
