We're looking for an experienced developer to join our team, someone who is passionate about working with Python and has a strong background in backend development.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in software development with Python.
You'll be responsible for developing high-quality software, working closely with the team to deliver projects on time, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development with Python, focusing on backend development.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of the Linux command line.
- Familiarity with Clouds, Rest APIs, and Microservices Architectures.
- DevOps mindset (CI/CD knowledge) and experience with tests.
- Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum, and experience working in collaborative environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and debug complex software applications.
- Availability for a hybrid regime at Porto (Portugal).
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
