We're seeking an exceptional Chief Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of data engineering at Sweatcoin. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for enhancing our data platform, optimizing infrastructure, collaborating with analysts, supporting growth, and driving innovation.
**Responsibilities:
- Work with a cutting-edge data stack, including Jupyter, BigQuery, Airflow, and Looker, integrated directly into the product to make analytics seamless and efficient.
- Optimize infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce data infrastructure costs.
- Partner with analysts to refine data workflows and support their projects.
- Help shape the future of data engineering at Sweatcoin as we scale our platform to reach millions more users.
- Lead the charge in bringing new, creative solutions to optimize our data infrastructure and support our product's mission.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong data tooling skills, including proficiency in Python, SQL, Git, and Docker.
- Advanced Python knowledge, with experience in pandas and NumPy.
- SQL expertise, including hands-on experience with advanced SQL concepts (e.g., window functions, subqueries).
- Cloud platform experience, preferably with GCP.
- Strong communication skills, with fluent English language skills.
