Crew Development Strategist

About the Role:

As a Crew Development Strategist at Phiture, you will be responsible for designing and implementing policies for crew management processes. This includes recruitment, fleeting, and upgrades, as well as flex work, additional roles, and absenteeism.

Policies and Processes:

  • Ensure that crew policies and processes are up to date, in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR and other teams to ensure strict adherence to existing approved policies.
  • Develop analytics regarding crew performance to inform decision-making.

Ongoing Operational Follow-up:

  • C coordinate the team to provide accurate and timely responses to crew members' inquiries.
  • Manage visa and passport requirements for crew members, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Oversee uniforms management, including defining and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) with external providers.

Crew Engagement and Communication:

  • Partner with HR to develop a crew engagement strategy and communication plan.
  • Identify key topics affecting the crew workforce and recommend initiatives to improve engagement and reinforce Phiture as an employer of choice.
  • Liaise with HR on crew-related events, such as the crew summit and business update.

Recruitment:

  • Work with Ops Planning to forecast new hires and plan annual crew recruitment.
  • Benchmark market trends and best practices to inform updates to NJE policies and procedures.
  • Implement the recruitment process according to approved policy and aligned with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

Fleeting and Upgrades:

  • Partner with Ops Planning to forecast fleet changes and upgrades, ensuring accurate planning and control.
  • Monitor crew headcount and compensation budget to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Benchmark market trends and best practices to inform updates to NJE policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Management.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in human resources, preferably in aviation or unionized workforces.
  • Project management experience and fluency in Business English are highly valued.
