About the Role

Our company, ITDSPortugal Todos, is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support in a dynamic banking environment, working closely with users and technical teams to resolve incidents efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, and experience in L1 and L2 IT support roles, particularly in application support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide Support for business-critical applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by investigating logs, source code, and user queries.
  • Monitor Application Performance and ensure compliance with SLAs.
  • Collaborate with users and technical teams to solve incidents efficiently.
  • Document issues and solutions, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Timely Resolution of Incidents, enhancing user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in L1 and L2 IT support roles, particularly in application support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in SQL and understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or higher); French is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and ITIL practices is advantageous.
